sambo's in the drizzle !

Gday, planned a trip to an area I havent fished for a number of years, unfortunately the day came up shitty with constant drizzle but went anyway due to the absence of wind. The big tide this morning allowed access to a stretch of water that is very difficult to get to these days but has had the runs on the board in the past.
All was quiet early with a few small flathead on plastics but the start of the run out switched the place on and the sambo's came out to play smashing yorkies in all directions. Had a ball on 10lb fireline and 30gr maniac, got my best for the year at 84cm and was stoked to bag out( and put some fillets back in the freezer) then escape before I ran out of water. Cheers !!

Cheers Ben, they will take flies for sure as they were mostly smashing the maniac on the drop, released plenty and had a ball.
