    Sabiki Bait Rods

    Hello all having trouble feeding the line up through the rod from the reel has anyone done this or know of any little tricks i am not doing all help appreciated cheers Adam

    I had to use a couple of meters of fine single strand wire to feed mine through

    The rod pulls appart its a 2 piece.

    had the same trouble with mine, until I figured it was a 2 piece.

    As well as pulling the rod apart, I also add a tiny swivel to the end of the line to act as a weight.

    found it easy once you seperate the handle, used a tiny split-shot to thread line through top section. drop it in hole and blow it out tip.

    Ummmmm. Wish I knew it was 2 piece....

    Sounds silly, but get some light braid (what was on the reel I used) and throw a few metres loose off the spool onto the ground, and stuff the other end in the vacuum cleaner and seal your hand around it, sucks the braid through in about 1 second... splitting it would be simpler but!).

    haha yeah I worked out mine was 2 piece after several stubbies worth of frustration with wire etc. The line or wire was running into the blunt end of the top section I think. Would be easy with it in 2 pieces I think
