I have been in a 5.2m CCC Hysu cat I think it was. It was fine. Another one from the same lot of mates was a 6.5m but it was not setup right and was a bit of a handful downsea. They had been experimenting with the foil placement on that one to get it right.
I have had mine for three years now and it has caught fish from Sandy Cape, Fitsroy Lagoon, Monduran, and Point Lookout. Great alrounder but takes time to learn how to pilot them. They need large props to prevent cavitation. Send me a pm if you want a chat. 0410431474
The system was developed by hysucat in South Africa . I've had this system fitted to my 30 ft cat, it has decreased fuel consumption, improved ride and increased tunnel clearance especially at lower speeds. Great system.
