mazda bravo lights
Just enquiring if some one could shed some info on my mazda bravo bt50 ,just purchased it and it was a fleet car has bullbar with parkers and blinkers on the bull bar , it had the automatic lights that come on when the vehicle is running i have taken the fuse out of this which means the light are now turned on manually,my problem is if i turn my headlight switch one click on to the parker icon my headlights and parkers come on and this stays the same if you turn it to full headlights , so i never can have just parkers on, any help would be great thanks.

Re: mazda bravo lights
First question, Why?
I have seen some systems where once the engine is running, to turn off the headlights all you had to do was turn the lights on then off again and they would go off(this was on a Commodore)
The fuse, was it in the standard factory fuse box with a factory label?
if so then a Mazda dealer should be able to disable it through the vehicle management system, Trucks at the last place I worked(Scanias) the daytime running lights were activated through the vehicle management system and could use either the headlights or fog lights
if not your best bet would be to go see an auto Electrician, as they fit these systems and would know how to disable it

Yeah mate,
See an auto leccy. I've been installing these systems for years (to be compliant on mine sites), and when these vehicles are on-sold, sometimes the "lights-on" kits aren't removed.
An auto sparky will sort it for you!!
