[quote=sleepygreg;1198509] Have you ever seen what happens to a 2.4m dia circular saw on a log line when it hits a hidden metal spike???? I have. Ever seen a human body being taken to the morgue in three seperate body bags? I have.
    quote]

Where exactly was this Greg? A media reference will do me, and is the three parts of body in a body bag anything to do with a greenie action or is this just emotive clap trap?

PS have you ever seen a person dug out of the ground with an excavator (against OH& S laws) for trying to stop the National Party Government of the day drive a D10 dozer down a National Park walking track in a pristine Cape Tribulation catchment draining to the reef? - I have

maybe the idiot should not have dug themselves into the ground.

But..if these new closures do come in I will be protesting..I will fish weherever I want and bugger the consequences. I will not sit back and let a bunch of socialist dopes dictate to me how I should live my life.

Jim..how about you adopt good ol' Bob's policy..lots of high and medium density close to CBD's...move out of the bush and live i na Bob Squalor..that should make you feel all wonderful..you would probably have some neighbours..you know the ones..the refugess that Bob will let in with bugger all checks. ( I don;t mind refugess as long as they are screened first). Then you may also have a married gay couple (another of Bob's initiatives)..and wait for it..a 16 year old who can vote...somehow I am starting to think I want some of the crap Bob takes..it must be really good stuff cos Bob and his apostles are off with the pixies.

No more Green zones..I will become colour blind to anymore Green bullcrap thrown into my life.

Give power to Bob Brown and he will go down in history as the most single destructive indiviual this nation has ever seen.

    Man made climate change..crap
Hole in the ozone layer caused by man..crap
    Renewable energy sources..crap
green zones will help the fisheries..crap.

A political party based on nothing but crap and it will be amazing how stupid some Australians are..they will actually vote for them..but it will at least show how many morons are in the country.

Bob was bailed out by members of the public otherwise he wouldn't even be a pollie, so I think a good chunk of his super will be used up paying some people back a couple of hundred thousand $$$

As far as I am concerned these radical greenies are murderers and terrorists. Its ok for them to 'sacrifice someone elses life' in their quest for their 'ideal' world.....but geeez anyone else who opposes them had better be politically correct. Hypocrites of the highest order.
    Still waiting for the reference

And if you can find me any Green pollie who supports the kind of action that could/would take a mans life i'll give you my boat!!

Sorry Jim Tate...dont have a media reference....dont even know if it was reported in the media...just happened to be part of my job as OHS officer with a timber company operating in tasmania some years ago. No I am not going to publish details out of respect for the family of the deceased, which I had to deal with after the incident. Emotive......you better believe it......exagerrated.....no....understated if anything....that was only one example. Apparently its also ok for Greenies to set fire to various equipment and sabotage things so that they become dangerous to the operators and people around them in their 'cause'. And Bob Brown was the leader of the pack when all this was occurring. Just troll back over the archives of the activities of these morons on the south coast of NSW and in Tasmania. It will be there, unless of course it has been censored.

Re: Tweed fishing rally - media comments and newspaper poll

Sarg you must be joking.....have you been living under a rock for the last 30 years......or is it a fine line that the Green pollies will distance themselves from the activists saying that "i would never condone that" eventhough thats the activities they were involved with before they came to politics officially.

Bob Brown was leader of the movement that used to chain themselves to trees and spike logs in any forrest that was being logged in the 70's and 80's. maybe you werent around then. If you were you must have been blind, deaf, stupid or totally ignorant of what was happening in the world. Does the media report on workplace deaths now......no. Did the media report on workplace deaths then...no. So its a bit hard to give you a media reference when one doesnt exist. But then you will probably use that as a reason to discredit me....no media report...so therefore it didnt happen.....a bit like the science used for the greens policy justification.

So what? Just because he really believes it it's OK? Why am I even responding? Such a meaningless response, really. Refuting nothing, just attacking the messenger (poorly, in this case) which is utterly typical.

    Definitely not an anecdote.

I learned a lot in my years in Tasmania. Also from my Brother who was arrested during the Gordon/Franklin days.

I suspect you know it too, Jim, but are quite happy to turn a blind eye. Reds are always funny that way, you know "I didn't see it so it didn't happen."
