I tried the same thing havin my 460 Stacer re rated form 70hp to 80hp tey wouldnt evern rerate it to 75hp.

In factt the frosty reception I got from Telwater made me want to offer them back the boat. Wouldnt give me the time of day.

Yet if your a "celebrity" they'll re rate your hull anytime, no problem.
