Catching Yakka

Hi all

Hoping someone can help me out !!!!!

Iam after G P S marks or starting point where i can regularly catch Yakka for live
bait out from Townsville on the way to the reef; Iam thinking around Cape
Clevland area !!!!

Graham, we usually get a few on either the north middle reef marker, and the S12 channel marker usually holds a few dunno why that one, but that's the only marker we have found with any sort of regularity. Also give 2ft rock ago, always bait hanging off that

Oh, the tripods on the way out of ross creeks are usually good for holding loads of bait, never got them from there before though, so not sure what they could be, but it would be a safe bet that they'd be yakka or greenback
