    Sands crabs around Gladstone

    Has anybody had any luck getting sandies around Gladstone or Tannum/Boyne?

    Hasn't anyone tried for sandies (blue swimmers) in the Gladstone area? Hard to believe ...

    You do catch them but they are not a target catch . I've caught a few in Hobble gully when crabbing with dillies but not many.

    Hmm, OK. I actually prefer eating the sandies. It can be a bit fiddly but I like the lighter, sweet meat.
