Hit the water late 9.00am at my Spot X, moved in half hour when the tide changed to the Hanlon but got busted off on some (big) stuff probably Tailor.
Moved again to another favorite but deeper (10m), best fish on mullet fillets and squid.
I've been taking pillies as it is easier but looking back squid have always produced the goods. Single hook rigs (4/0) with pea sinker above a swivel did the damage.
Surprises ... not many Bream and lots of little Tailor.
Got a bit lumpy and headed back in around 1pm.
