Here's a heads up to anyone in the s/e suburbs of melb. K-Mart in Cranbourne are clearing out the range of Tsunami Odessey travel rods.I don't know if its the same at other stores. They come in high modulous graphite and are excellent for the money, clearing at $40 each.
I have the 7'2" x 3 pce and the 8' x 4 pce . They have pretty good guides as i ran a piece of 10lb braid heavily across the stripper guide 20 times without a mark.
They have graphite reel seats with the protective insert and cork grips. The corks are of average quality but ok.

They come with a multi section rod bag packaged in a clear hard plastic.container. I think the original price was $79.
