abu revo sx hs

Bought one recently and since then, have read some disturbing reports about poor corosion resistance and some pot metal part in the spool release plunger that wears very quickly.
I own a few Shimanos and thought I`d give an ABU a go this time. Have I made a mistake? How`s your Revo going?

Reggy, I own a revo inshore and can't fault it. Have it serviced once a year and you should'nt have any dramas with it.

Another point that confuses me is that ABU state 10kgs of max drag, but recommend 6 kg line for this reel.

The pinion gear looks like it would strip under that max drag and the reel only has a roller bearing for it`s anti reverse.
Even the Torium`s roller bearing which is a lot bigger, lets go at 18 pounds of drag.
Am I missing something here?
