    60 series oil change

Been giving the old girl an oil change when required but can`t seem to to get no spill from the oil filter , was thinking maybe a hole in the bottom of the old filter with a nail or something to drain it first , just a pain in the arse when you get that black s$%#t everywhere. deisel 2H . yes mate that,s a young fella i also have a 88 60 series 330 klm it has a bit more pull than the old girl but its a noisier motor they get quieter as the age i towed a 30 ft savage with the old girl once from the gold coast to Loganholme THE BACK WHEELS CAME OF THE GROUND A COUPLE OF TIMES soas far as a tow vehicle they take some beating good luck and happy driving

Cheers Hilly , It would be by far my favourite vehicle ever purchased . the common places are starting to show some rust but it was purchased for beach missions and has done plenty of islands around seq. I think I`ll try pucturing the bottom of the filter with a nail to get the excess out before unscrewing it. gotta be less messy than just undoing it. Cheers Andrew

I have a petrol 60 series sitting at my oldies place... Apart from a rusted bonnet and rust behind the mud flaps (roof is great) it's in good nic...If anyone needs parts or whole car give me a yell.

My 80 series was the same, just used to wrap an old t shirt or rag around and under to absorb the oil. As long as you put enough there it will absorb all of the spilt oil.
