    mate,
    just blew BOTH front EFS SHOCKS(new before trip) on my Mazda doing canning sr and mitchell plateau..
    Only redeeming fact is they are replacing them in alice springs without any dramas..

    they did some really hard going and worked well till they started leaking oil.

    Chimo, yep those are the ones. Had 'Poly Air' bags in the rear coils. Used to pump them up to around 10 psi when fully loaded and almost flat when empty. I had a ute with a heavy canopy on the back so it wasn't to stiff when unloaded.
