I have an 11 year come to the course with his dad the other week and has started me thinking.. is it worth start a short easy to understand lesson for kids of his age or less?

We all teach them how to dial 000 for emergency, but how many know about channel 16?

I recently attended one of these courses and can attest that it is certainly well worth the time and money. An excellent day and learnt heaps, just wish lunch was put on when I attended!

I don't want to hijack the thread but are there courses on other dates or are they just an 'as announced' type thing? Would love to do one but can't that weekend.

    Thanks

I am pretty sure that VMR Victoria point still runs regular courses - guy called Kevin Hanrahan does them.

I originally set the whole course up when I was with the Unit and then Lloyd Finn did them and did a top job by all accounts. Kevin uses the same data so worth a call to him to find out .................. 3245 2180
