    Sunday - On the River

And wait for it...going to be using..p..pl...pl...pl...plastics..damn that was hard to say.

Nobody is that lazy! Swing past my place and I can give you some pillies. Anything but the dark side.

    Thank God for that!!

Just the mention of the s s s soft pl pl pl is enough to make you stammer and stutter.

You never know: float a pillie down and you could just get a snap.

Well I did very well today using plastics in a local creek. Best i've done for about 2 yrs i think.
I do not think I have ever done as well for sizeable fish on bait in this creek.

Re: Sunday - On the River

Why did you cancel?? tides are good and the weather is overcast and the temps are nice both in and out of the water. Take a big thermos along and enjoy.

How come all "retired" or "semi-retired" people say this?? Is it some sort of mandatory initiation to have the tell that to everybody??
And don't pass the line you have "never worked so hard in your life".
That just leaves no incentive for people to retire to a harder working life.
When i give up working I will be working at what I want to do at the pace i want to move at, not be busier then i am now.

That is actually what happens. After 4 1/2 years, I am definitely "working" at a slower rate than when I was being paid to work but now it is on all of the fun things that I like to do so often I might actually be "working" longer hours than before.

Unfortunately, jobs around the house seem to invent themselves when you have the time to do them.

I define 'work" as what you do for someone else. I no longer have work; now I just have day's full of "activity."

( plus a fair number of afternoon snoozes. )
