Oh well we im one happy fisherman and trying my luck tonight as wild windy weather means a good chance for jewie
mate !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will def be going for a throw this weekend again ..... i agree that the rougher, churning is what a bait fisho needs for the jewies :-)
Tx for sharing !!!
Bloody good job mate. Gotta be very happy with that lot! What was the bait if you dont mind? Was going to head offshore sunday but i think you have changed my mind. Chasing Jew it is. Ben
Mate certainly not after any specific spots but northern NSW or gold coast? Feel free to ignore the question if you don't wanna give your spot away. Finding a good spot is half the fun.
Just goes to show the silver jew are around in rough water.
Was the bonito flesh salted down or whole. Reason I ask if thw water was rough I would have thought the bonnie would come off the hook eventually via sweep and wave action.
Hi peter i fillet the bonito in 4 long fillets per fish and cover in salt more the better than leave outside all day in the shade which drys them out and makes them hard to pull off the hook than put in containers in the fridge.
Northern Nsw area jackash plenty of good water down there.
Gonna go down there again tues, wed..
