Port Macquarie Peak ? anyone fished it?

I was just south of port mac a month ago and noticed a very nice rise on the charts 14nm east of the port. It was quite dramatic. when i zoomed out of the gps it appeared to be one of the most dramatic contour mounts on the shelf along the whole coast and only 14 nm wide.

Almost got the opporutinty to fish it but alas no. Just curious if anyone on here has fished it and what to expect, as i might get the oppportuntiy to be up that way in a f ew months

Hey Barry,

Ive fished it, the peak rises from 240m to 170m, lost a couple good fish on bait and jig, current became too strong after an hour.
hopefully the cooler months make it more fishable
