    On the water tomorrow

With the current forecast, I'm undecided on where to go in the bay tomorrow. The boat hasn't seen salt for a while and I'm home for a couple of days and wouldn't mind being on the water. Offshore isn't an option this time.
For those that fish the bay regularly, can you recommend a spot for a quiet fishing/squidding/picnic lunch to be back on dry land by 2 - 3pm ish --> leaving MBTBC.

    Regards,
    Wags

I'll check later if you don't have the marks for the Tiwi Pearl, I need to fire up the GPS or find the post showing the real marks for it- I was amazed nobody fishing it two weekends back. Definitely worth anchoring up just up current and floating some nice baits down. I only stopped off late afternoon to find it and spent 30 mins checking it out. We only had offshore plastics with us and too lazy to change the 1 oz jigheads we had. Brad found the wreck 1st cast!! Now its Tiwi Pearl + 1 7/0 jighead

    Good luck!

There is a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot

I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges

I'll discuss the fishing, picnic/no fishing, no picnic option with my gf tonight and decide on the trip later. As much as it would be great to be on the water again, common sense may prevail.

Cheers and thanks for those who replied.

Evening Gaven. I'm towing it to Bundy so I can fish on my days off. Hopefully be able to fish off 1770 in a couple of weeks, then the Yeppoon Tight Lines comp in August.

    Re: On the water tomorrow

Hopefully Gaven. Just need the weather gods to play the game too.

The day on the water today was canned last night. Apart from the forecast not the best, there's too much to do here before I leave tomorrow.

    Cheers.

As you know Greg, I have lost my garage - I tried so hard to convince Paula I could still fit the Prado in it..but no.
