i saw 8 pro pots 1/3 of the way up Bribie island last week so i'd say there must be some somewhere.

Chased them in Hay's inlet a fortnight ago. Ended up with 4 keepers, but they were very soft under the carapice, so I sent them back for next time. I would suggest that any caught at this time of the year may be a little low in the meat department.
