How does somerset fair in a 15-20 knt breeze southerly . Was going to do a run with the kids sunday morn but not sure with the breeze forecast. Does it get uncomfortable will have a 4 and 5.5 year old with me. Boat size 4.4 mrts. Thanks Shane
your 4.4 should be fine, if it looks choppy, then find a protected section, plenty of bays to mooch around in. Are you laying pots for craw or chasing bass?
Somerset is narrow - so just hug the bank and their should be no dramas
I've fished in a 20knt SW before ....... cold but safe enough in a 480 hornet....... just make sure you have the appropriate clothing & safety gear.
