cockle whiting

went out for a whiting hunt out on the cockle banks, checked out just about everywhere finding very few fish till just before we had to leave

we scored a small feed which was good, and found where they are at which is good, but it was frustrating to have to leave them biting due to other appointments

the stand out catch, which I forgot to mention before, was a legal tusk fish........

me thinks 5" gulps next time will deliver some more interesting fish because we found a little isolated patch of good reef
