Tailor certainly do come through there still. But the space problem is worse than I've seen in all the years of heading down there.
Re: Wheelchair accessable spots, cant help on that front sorry.
Hey guys,
Been a fair while since I have made a post here but am looking at chasing some tailor over the next month or so as it chills down a bit, we took a trip to the SP Jetty about a month ago and was full of people using those 10 hook rigs with little shrimp and smashing the dart of course al standing shoulder to shoulder and having total disregard for anyone's space and/or gear.
Do the tailor even come through there anymore? Is it eve worth the trip or can someone else suggest a better place thats wheelchair accessible.
Cheers,
Shane

Re: Wheelchair accessable spots, cant help on that front sorry.
I guess obviously midweek is going to be alot quieter than the weekends so might have to have a look at that I think
There is a ramp that is for strollers, I assume a wheelchair would be no poblem, the wooden sleepers have been replaced with concrete. You may have to contact the shop that operates the pier to let you know if they cater for people in wheelchairs, if not, you have a good case to lodge with the Anti Discrimination Commission for failing to accommodate people with impairment or disabilities.
If I had the piers shop number I'd post it, unfortunately I dont have it.
Tailor is hit and miss at the best oif times.

Hi Mate,
Tailor still go through the sand pumping jetty,I normally go during the
week because as has been stated to many people on the weekends
that have no respect for you or your fishing gear.I normally ring before
i go near the place to find out whats be happing. The phone number for
the shop is a mobile number as there is no land line.-0412 202 453.
There is no problems with wheel chair access.
Hope this helps
Good luck,
D&S.
Sorry double posted,

yea thx Peter have been there since they have done the concreteing, the only pain in the ass is those barriers they have that are about 2 feet away from the railings, really hard to get lifted over those sometimes.
I think I might give it a crack mid week and see what the people traffic is like.
Mate, if you do get around to calling or going there, would you mind giving me a PM? I've just bought a new surf rod and have been itching to try it out, but I can't manage the time at the moment to get out there for a serious session.
Cheers,
Kaidon
