Very nice flounder there Cooch, seldom encounter them over 30cm these days.

Nice going. We ducked out today too and got a flathead at 73cm (2.45kg), and 10 nice bream - all around 28 - 33cm. Seem like the flathead are coming on a lot more from all the reports. Cheers, Darren

Gday coochin, myself and the wife had a ball on them on sunday, my favourite gear for them is 2kg braid with 12 lb leader, 2.5 inch berkley paddle tails are great also 3 inch berkley minnows on 1/4 oz tt heads in no1 hook, drift near any sandbank and cast into the 3-10 feet range and bounce back and you should do well, and remember you can only eat them once ok.. cheers
