G'day all

Was just wondering if anyone here is heading to it this year? Or been previous years?

I'll be heading down from rocky.

Does anyone know how quick the camping fills up?

I havnt been for about 4-5 years now. My mate has won it a few times. But mud bulls and music is pretty cool if you have never been there before. There are tonnes of camping areas but the longer you wait the futher away you are. But the venues are on different courses and areas of landcruiser park. My suggestion is as close to the concert stage and toilets as possible. "A 5 minute walk, A 40 minute drunkn stumble".

Yeam mate im mostly going for the rodeo and music, may end up watching some of the driving stuff though.

haha and i can tell what ya mean by as close to toilets and the likes. Did you stay in the free area or pay extra for other ones?

It was usually always organised by someone else for me. But we all used to chip in a fair bit of cash for entry, drinks etc etc. Id say we paid for the sites. I cant remember it ever being a free campsite. Im sure if you look it up on the net it will tell you everything you need to know. But the whole landcruiser park is a great place to camp.

I'm just tossing up between a paid site with shuttle bus, or there is two free area, one being landcruiser park and another one. The other one has shuttle bus, landcruiser park is 5km from main concert area apparently?? and no bus.
