a revamped snapper snatcher.... nothing like it.

There was 2 boats fishing the same spot that night we managed 16 or so fish to their 1 fish.

Water of a ducks back I'm sure Sean.

Great work fellas. Great to see so much local product producing great fish.
You guys are doing a great job. I'm heading out with Smithy in a couple of weeks.
Will do some product testing then!

Maybe we should all start bagging the hell out of Shimano and Daiwa for advertising their products.
Making videos using only their gear and telling people that it catches fish...

Seems to be the thing to do on here once someone actually puts the time and effort into trying to build a business.
    Cheers and thanks.

Hahaha any tied fly would be all the same nothin much would differ from what i see just bigger, goes back to the you can fish better than the other boat or the spot was ever so small which like ive seen rocks in the ocean as small as boats only one boat could be on it and at anchor your either on it or 100 miles off it.

Mate as a new member with only a few years fishing experience it is not in your own interest to bag other members for posting a report explaning what gear they used. The Mods are watching.

I have been fishing offshore since Adam was in nappies and you never stop learning about new gear and technique. I have personally seen snapper refuse to touch bait but eagerly hit plastics and glow products.

Vertico is not the only Ausfish member to test these new products. How do you explain 4 guys in the same boat on the same side of the boat 2 fishing with bait and 2 fishing with glow jigheads with same bait attached. Bait = 1, Glow jigheads = 10.

    Wake up to yourself.

    Cheers

whos to say i have only been fishing for a few years? maybe luck or so you say knowing how to fish the bait right ! i thought this was a forum like you say to learn things and share, but not a big advertisment for tackle sales theres a spot for that i thought it seems to be everwhere in the last few months, i cant see any other reports anywhere describing specific hooks like these ones, i just couldnt see the sence in all the reports saying that the fish were caught on the special pe tackle fly

Re: PEtackle Trag and Squire on 24's

I have had the PE flies fished on my boat and have seen them work and they are well made. So what is wrong with reporting that. I do not know Sean from a bar of soap, but his flies are expertly tied on premium quality hooks.

It is the same as me reporting a catch of 5 Wahoo, a Mahi Mahi and 2 Yellowfin Tuna in one session this summer all on one Red/White Halco Laserpro 190 Crazy Deep. I swear by the things and will tell anyone who will listen, but I have no affiliation with Halco. Their gear is great and I will recommend it to anyone.

    Same thing here mate.

Just buy some PE gear and go and catch some fish hahaa

    Cheers,
    Myles

nothing wrong with bait...... but bait with bling works better, in fact this bling even works by itself

Think back to when nuclear chicken was a new plastic - everyone who caught fish on the nuke chook said so loud and clear.

up the revolution, especially when it helps me catch fish

I wasn't a fan of flies at first till I got outfished time after time.

    cheers

This is the one thing wrong in these forums we pay too much creedence to the knockers! If we all try to ignore them - no matter how hard that may be then I am sure we will hear much less from them (hopefully).

As for Barry's Jigheads and Seans flies well unashamedly I am a Southern advocate.

After fishing off Coffs Harbour for the last 15 years with some very talented fisho's I recently used both products (seperatley) whilst others on my boat did not, the results had my mates rummaging through my gear pleading for spares.

Had it not been for this very forum I would not have known these products existed let alone be able to purchase them direct.

Thanks guys and keep up the reports.

    Cheers
    Rob

Got myself a bit of that pe gear today. Glad to see my local finally stock it. Looking forward to giving them a bash around Mackay in a few weeks time.

Good report - I do like to see what people are catching, and what gear they are using. Every bit of useful fishing info on this site helps a person decide what to use for their next adventure. No matter what gear people use, if they say they are using 5/0 Kirby Hooks that i use for snapper as an example, that's what i use and have success on. It's up to people on a forum to decide then if they find this info useful or not, and if so, use the same or something similar to help them then.
Good report Anthony and Sean! Keep up the good reports fellas!
    Cheers,
    Darren
