    That's a pretty impressive haul there! It's nice to know there's blokes out there who can still break the mould and defy these myths about the lack of Snapper in the bay.

    I'm just not one of them ....but damn it's fun tryin!

    I note that Salty is more dedicated than I am to be out there in <10 degree temps from Friday night right through to 4am Sat. Full credit to him I say.

    Myself I hope to find a balance where I can get onto a 2kg snapper without pulling an all nighter.

    I find it hard to believe that an area like Redcliffe/Scarborough can be "fished out" , surely most the snapper move in from outside during the winter, the only real "resident" fish worth taking would really be estuary cod and I still get heaps of them.
