    Compas Adjustment Bouy

    Hi all - could someone please explain or show me roughly where the cmopas adjustment bouy is out from Nudgee? Is it hard to find?

    its not hard to find at all , I dont know the exact bearing but if you were to follow the markers that break left at the top of the brisbane river you will run straight into it. Essentially , if you head out at low tide from nudge to go to the top of the river , you will need to motor nearly straight past it to avoid the massive shallow bank that extends out from the airport. Check your beacon to beacon. Sorry I cant be more specific in terms of a waypoint.

    buy a chart and take a bearing - very easy to find

    From the Nudgee creek entrance, head directly for mud island. You will need to dodge it

    Or if you know where the north end of the Cooper channel is, Compass Adjustment bouy is the Red can just north of the last red post

    Dead easy practically due east of cabbage tree creek, i'm heading there today.

    Direct line from Shultz Canal to Tangalooma wrecks. Can not miss it.
