    Feral,
cracking time to head up to Awoonga, nice weather and not too cold for night fishing, you've chosen well. Head up so you fish the week leading up to the full moon. I would take a mix of both soft plastic lures and hardbodies. The halcos mentioned work well so does xraps. Take some hollowbellies and slickrigs for softplastics.

    I hope you smack'em

Oct is a great time to be throwing plastics ........ Slick rigs , hollowbellies , storm suspending shads , Berkley power mullets & storm swim shads ......... after that an Rapala X Rap HB or two ........ and I'd be happy

Give a man a fish & he will eat for a day !
    Teach him how to fish
& he will sit in a boat - & drink beer all day!

my best results in this month are ,weeks leading into full moon this is one of the better fishing times as it gives you more time on the water being able to see easier with the moon ,one of my best lures are bibless rattling lures in 60mm to 70mm ,halco, jackall, cottn cordell all work well
