I know that similar questions have been asked before, But here it goes again, looking at upgrading my reel chasing mainly squire/snapper on soft plastics (but will be tormented by longtails occasionally), matching up to a Loomis DSR820, have been looking at the Sustains ($300), have always been a shimano man, but have been recently leaning towards a Certate 2500R (2010) ($500), But if I spend $500 do I just spend the extra $125 and get a Stella?
I have heard a couple of bad reports about the new Certates wearing the handle bearings and gears out (apparently the new Sols have a similar problem). Thanks in advance for your time and comments.
