    Hey Jack,

Check with Phill on who to talk to at DERM for that. Not sure if he is back from Roma yet but he is the liason point for us with DERM on this project.
    Cheers,
    Chris

Jacks offer seems too good to be true. I have always thought that concrete agitator bowls would be one of the best components for artificial reefs. A combo of concrete and steel should last a while

I got a reply back about the concrete agitator bowls from the head of operations in the arti reefs. He said that concrete agitator bowls are unsuitable for the reef because they can be washed around in rough weather to end up outside of the designated area for the reef. Fair comment and I respect that, however I am using a 12t drott on Monday to move these things out of the way for the time being. Concrete being set more to one side makes them impossible to roll around.

If only they could be cut in half either lengthwise OR around the perimeter then they would geometrically be ideal.

Once around with a cutter or lance then dropped on a splitter would do it. (no I don't have the gear otherwise I would offer)
