Heading Up To Woodgate For 3 Weeks Has Any Body Fished Up There Lately Or Around Burrum

I havent fished up there lately as i only go up once a year at Christmas.

There is plenty of places to fish like theodilite creek, burrum river, artificial reefs offshore etc etc

what do you plan to do fishing wise? do you have a boat?

I was up there at Woodgate 2 weeks ago. Plenty of winter whiting about. A few spotties on the artificial reef. Flathead in the rivers.

We're doing a bit around Woodgate, will have the option of a tinny with us, keen to know where the artificial reefs are, last I got told was they were just off the beach, gee that helped.
If someone is good to give up some waypoints for the area, even the Hervey Bay area, can you send em to corry@corrysplace.com.
Any tips for the area from boat or land would be good.
I'll start another thread for some more questions.

Hey Corey,
When you arrive at Burrum one block before the boat ramp(southern side of the river) Theres a Grocery/fishing/take away store. The proprietors have maps with GPS coordinates of the spots to fish . As well as species you will likely catch.
