    Threadybustin with pistol pete

    Hey folks,

as per usual winter in brissy, chasing threadies jew and snapper, the noosa boys have long been keen to rub one off as far as threadies are concerned, there fishery is not what it used to be for these great fish so pete chalked up the courage to make the long drive down from what is fishing paradise for most species to take on a thready.

Gave him a guided tour of the threadybuster factory and saw the crazy chemist in action, picked up a few goodies there then off for some hot food and enuf petrol for our tanks to sustain a nights wind chill.

must say i was under a bit of pressure to produce a fish and relieved when pete decked the first one at 96cm, text book golden fish, more followed including his first entry into the metery club at 105cm, a nice jew and other critters for myself, got some tags into some jew, thats about the short of it, pink threadybuster and glow in the 60mm size were the standouts, pete can crow about his thready im sure didley is waiting for it, last point it pays to carry a couple of spare trailer rollers, been a few bandits knocking them off lately but we had no such trouble this trip.

Good on ya Boys, well done. I had a brief try myself a week back, but no luck. I was doing a run to mud and thought I'd pull a golden on the way, but looks like I need some expert help, BB???
