took a mate out to lenthalls for a flick ,had cold weather ,rain squalls,19 degree water but it was still nice to get back out there ,the road has been graded and good to drive on.found some good water up one of the arms only 19.8 but it helped as the big fella landed his pb 820mm , and on 10lb braid with 8lb leader, dropped one myself and had 2 more good hits hard going though lots of casts and moves but worth seeing his smile after landing it , cheers AL
Nice to put your mate onto a good fish Al and good to hear the road has been graded. I imagine a 820 is a pretty big barra for Lenthalls or are there many much longer?
mike just chasing the barra, thru a couple of jackalls but that what i lost the barra on they are taking small lures at moment ,the barra are around the 800 mark now but cant wait till next summer they are growing fast and there are heaps of bonies in there of good size to eat
