Was not sure where to fish yesterday with the wind blowing but thought id risk the cold and the wind and sit near the mouth at kawana, Turns out it was only gusty and was quite nice sitting there was very quiet boat wise. but the bream were biting hard. Ended up catching about 12 or so bream kept 3 for dinners. Missed alot of very good hits/runs the ol case of catching a fish on one rod and the other screams off but drops it. Was hoping there was some tailor about but no luck.
first time catching fish on braid, was using 6lb braid with a 10lb trace ( all i had in the boat wanted to use 8lb but forgot it) Braid rocks my socks couldn't believe how nice it was to use compared to mono. I feel as though i had alot better hookup rate with it.
