Notice the water ballast hull from the stern photo. Hell of a deadrise too!

Yeah it is a beast. It would be good with the water ballast. The 3m beam would help with the normal Formula dance at rest.

Those Midnight Express things are awesome. They are a drug runner boat. Regardless of sea state you just set max continuous power and go!

Nice to dream eh. But i would love that Bass Straight 30

Mate ..... personally, no ambition for either .... these days I'm just dream of getting back to Oz for a short time in August to have a fish .... you guys just don't know how lucky you are ... absolute gold !

Having said that .... I'm with you, I'd love just once to blast Bass strait .... just once ... (strap on the kidney belt I guess!)
