Highly overated braid the sunline IMO.

For pulling reefies you are much better sticking with the likes of Tuf line or Fins.

    Way cheaper too.

    Why Sunline Super PE ?

I disagree with Pete about Sunline products being over rated - they make some great products ....... but the super PE is not one of them ( I've had issues with shock breakages in the 30lb class ..... 2 spools + even had 50lb break relatively easily ) -
For the money paid you can do better for cheaper ( Power pro & Fins ..... would do a better job for reef fishing)

    Re: sunline super pe

Not had much to do with the Super PE version but love other forms of their braid. I use 20LB castaway or 20LB light jigger for light soft plastics work with shallow water Snapper with no issues. If bigger fish or rough terrain are an issue step up to the 30LB. The light jigger version Sunline make is expensive but sensational braid. If cost is an issue 300m of 30LB Nilton in either Blue or Yellow is another great option.

I'm with Sevric there, the dark blue Nitlon is my favourite at the moment.
I have 4, 12, 16 and 30lb on different reels at the moment.

I used the Sunline Super PE green on my Twinnie 4000 for a while.
20lb was what I used. I did like it, but after using the Nitlon I'm not going back.
    Cheers and thanks.

It's not that it is bad mate.
There are just better options for the price these days.
    Cheers and thanks.

    Re: sunline super pe

I've got the Super PE 6lb and 30lb and it's alright ... the Castaway is in a different class altogether ... I run this in 16lb and 30lb ... definitely my choice of braid at the moment and the 200m spools of Castaway are very useful. Agree with LNB about better options for the price.
