headed up to npd this arvo with my young fella in the hope to get a few redclaw,had 8 traps in the water by 4.30 done 5 checks in total,at the start it wasn't lookin promising with only 1 from the 1st pull of the traps the next pull we managed to get 13,the 3rd pull was the best gettin 42,the last couple of pulls we got around the 20 each pull,also got around 70 shrimp,ended up with 96 yabbies and 70 odd shrimp,use tin and dry dog food for bait,put it into the missus stockings:grin: ,had the traps out of the water by 8,

plenty there,alot of real small ones around,threw heaps back around the 3 inch mark,good lick for tonite

mmmmmm steak topped with garlic butter craw. I can taste it now.

Try marinating them with freshly crushed garlic, ginger, soy and honey for a few hours or overnight and cook next day in butter with bit of olive oil and spread over white rice...very nice..don't knock it until you try it.

The muminlaw found some craw in the freeze and we did them this way on wednesday night. Very nice, we had them with ginger rice (cooked it using ginger beer instead of water). Mmmmm tasty!!
