New tip for Loomis BC...

Picked up a Loomis GL2 C 723, 6', 10 - 17lb baitcaster for the right price.
The price was down due to the fact the tip has been snapped off.
Rod lost around 5mm below the tip.
Just wondering what would be a good tip to match this rod?

Will generally be using 14lb Nitlon braid on this rod.

put a silicon carbide tip on. They are the best guides to run with braid. If not an alconite guide will suffice.

Took it down to the guys at Allround Angler today, they had a great selection of quality tips for me to choose from. Went with the silicon carbide. Very nice.
Can't wait to get it back!
