From a commercial fisher, recreational fisher, research scientist, boat based, land based, time span, details entered........... a lot more info required there to even start to answer the question.

I guess some might pay a good price for info, but it would also depend on how far back the data goes, like one from only a year ago would be worth about $0 but an accurate one from say 10 years with all sorts of data entered might be a saleable item (but not to me)

i don't think a commercial fisherman would sell his as it may hurt his business.
to make it easier just from a rec fisho boat based with the date, time ,tides and moon phase.

If a pro fisho was retiring and he wanted to get every cent he could from his business, quota, boat, gear etc........ then I reckon he would sell a " little Black Book ".
Look on Ebay...................that's where I'd put it.

depends on who the author is , my fishing diary would be worth zip. As I fish all over the place and at irregular intervals,,,, no continuity.
HMMMM , something to think about in my retirement........
MY little black book spans about 10 years, more than 400 ocean days, more than 270 marks......
Would I sell it now ?... Not on your life
