Have a mate who lived at Coolum for years and used to swear by the cunji off the rocks as bait. Stumners creek at dusk/dawn is a good spot if the rocks don't fire too.
Hey,
going to a party at Mt Coolum on sat night so the plan is to go up early and fish the rocks sat arvo, then again on sunday...
last trip up i had a short sesh on rocks south of coolum beach (just north of a small beach) where i scored a doughnut....
so any help on where to try would be appreciated...dont want to trek a long way from the car and as ill be solo i dont really want to go swimming....
by the way i dont plan on using bait unless i catch some....SP, HB and raiders only
thanks in advance
Cheers Chris

Stumers off the beach is alright, but forget the creek.. What few fish are left are absolutely riddled with red spot disease... Saw a bream floundering in the shallows with its tail virtually rotten off last week.
