its been over 10 weeks and not one good weekend of flat water how long must I wait i want to go past cape moreton to do some reef fishing but i carnt due to the weather being so bad does and one know if this is because of the month or whatt plzz help:cry:
Dont worry jpcqw1 most of us are in the same boat mate, we should start coming into some good weather pretty soon tho. Next weekend maybe..??

Yeah, wind has been bad in the bay recently. Saturday arrived back at Wello after a wonderful trip from the Rainbow Channel, and there was a family trying to launch in 25kt SE winds, poor guys boat went straight under - swamped! Luckily he managed with the help of some kind young dudes to winch it back on to trailer!
Yeah that ramp is a killer. A customer of mine told me there is some good tailor fishing of the banks out from the ramp; so I took my little 12 footer down one night all excited and watched the ramp for a while and then left for home again....not worth it.
