    Rock fishing Shoes

Does anyone know where i can get my hands on a pair of Mirage Rockhoppers in Brisbane? My trainers just aren't cutting it. They are too slippery on most surfaces...

    Hi
Try going to the mirage web site and look for stockists in bisbane. Also try TABATA who specialise in dive boots etc.
We have their dive slippers which are truly brilliant for boating and dare say rock fishing.

Just found this-- try typing in Mirage Rockhoppers and you come up with the scubadoctor web site whicvh you can mail order and use paypal.
Yellow pages for local dive shops in your area or try Anaconda who apparently stock them.

Thanks... I've tried Anaconda, they apparently don't stock them anymore...

I saw the Scubadoctor, there are a couple of other dive shops that sell them online but I was kinda hoping to get my hands on a pair before i bought them so that i could get the size right. Nothing worse than cramped toes when you are standing for long periods!

I'll have a look at Tabata though...

I use Kaydee Sandals, i havent put any spikes on them so they arent super grippy on the slime but are pretty good for general fishing on the rocks. I wear them with booties, and reckon when i get into some fishing where the rocks are really slimy ill buy myself a second set and put on some plates.

I have KD's, with 1/4 inch S/S self tappers screw in to every second nodule. Works a treat on all rock surfaces. (also wear rubber booties with them).
