    snorkel for a rodeo

    hi guys
Anyone know where I could get a snorkel for a rodeo 2.8td 2000 model for a good price?
I have seen ones on ebay for $460 plus delivery but is there any around cheaper?

    Mate
I just fitted one of those airflow snorkels that are sold on Ebay by b4WDAust. It was $385 plus $15 postage as against $480 plus postage for a "Safari" snorkel for the courier.
The "Airflow" snorkel quality leaves a bit to be desired in as far as the mounting nuts were set in crooked which made fitting fun but now its on it doesnt look too bad. Its deigned so I can fit a pre cleaner on the top if I want to.
I dont know if they have snorkels for the Rodeo but I did see them for a heap of other 4X4s.
Mate bought a snorkel privately through ebay but he had to pay for some one to fit it because he had trouble sourcing a template for it.

    Thanks mate
I just helped a mate fit one to his patrol that he brought secondhad from ebay, with no template made it fun, but we got there.
I see that there is one for my rodeo on ebay now, its an airflow ones as well the way it fits on the side is different that that of a "safari" ones so I just don't know. pay the full price or go cheap.

Well they reckon "The poor man always pays twice"
I just hope the airflow is as UV stabilized as the Safari. only time will tell.

    That saying sounds so true.
I am sick of buying things cheap only for them to last less than half the time if I was to pay a little more.

    Re: snorkel for a rodeo

    G'day,

Do you want it for dust management or water crossings?

The selection of good snorkels is dependent on knowing this.
