    Johnson Parts- where to buy

I've recently purchased a toy boat for the kids to play and wanted to do my own servicing. I have a 1979 vintage johnson which i need parts.

Any body know who would stock parts. ( i am required to take the powerhead off to change the impella.) Location is Brisbane.

No need to take the powerhead off.
    Take the leg off instead.
Here's where to look for the impellor

Pretty easy job to do if all the bolts play right.
Be carefull undoing the bolts on the gear selector rod clamp. They tend to seize up and break bolts and another clamp is hard to find. (part 58)

yep, and 1979 model is almost new!! parts will be available, though some odds and ends may be dead and gone, what HP is it? I can't remember a model from '79 that needed the power head to come off to replace the water pump.

6 HP is just a "normal" water pump repair, and as mentioned, as long as all the bolts come out without breaking, it is a breeze to do.
