Hi outsider we stayed at my mates block of land at maaroom he has a livable shed on it.
we fished the coffee rock ledge out from the mouth of rocky creek up past th whyttcliffs on the inside of fraser is it runs for a few klm but only fish the last hour of the run out and first of the run in or or last of the run in and first of the run out fish go off the bite , both maaroom and boonaroo have camp grounds and big tuan ramp is a all tide ramp maaroom is about 3 hour before high and before low is the limit for getting in and out livies seem to work well cast net up agains the cliffs at sth whytliffe for them or near the old jetty up from the wrecks hope this helps
p.s this spot is a fair way up from the ramps we used about 35 litre of fuel with a 50 hp 2 stroke there and back and doing some trolling and running around from maaroom ramp would be a fair bit more from tuan ramp

    Hi Coochin
mate some good fishing up that way plenty of shallow banks and will takes months to explore we get a tings in the bay straight accross from the ramp at maaroom and they fish amongst the mangroves and sand flats on the rising tide for them plenty of flatties around as well
if you go pm me and will try to give you some starting points a hell of a lot of sand bars and not much water
