Noosa River _ ANZAC Weekend
Fished the Noosa lower reaches over the weekend. Early mornings and either side of tide changes proved be most productive.
Caught a number of small flatheads, bream, muddies. Some gigantic female muddies as well. All released, of course. And one Happy Moment
Keepers included 2 muddies (one cooked and eaten before I could take a photo). Rest in the photo attached.
Can anyone identify the striped cattie that was caught in my cast net but earlier had seen a school of about 100 swimming in the shallows.
Cheers:cool:

well done, good feed mate, striped eel catfish or coral catfish (Plotosus lineatus), spines can be a little uncomfortable if you get jabbed
