hey everyone
i recently just got a 4.15 magnum and i am now looking to put a sounder in it.
i was really hoping to spend only around $400-$600.
does anyone have any brands or models that are good. i have never brought a sounder before so dont really know what to look out for. or if anyone has a old sounder that they are wanting to sell.
would it be worth spending a little bit more and getting a gps combo?

You wont really get much in a GPS/Fishfinder combo for under $1000...
As for fishfinder, I use an Eagle Fishmark 320. It's B&W but a very good sounder that should easily be in your price range. Look for the Fishmark 480 if available as that has a few more pixels...
There are some decent colour units up around the $600 end that several others here would recommend so I will leave that to them.
