    Fishing Awoonga from the shore

    Hi Folks,
    The missus and I will be staying at Awoonga for a few days the end of June and I wondered if it is worthwhile flicking some SP's from the bank. Apart from the barra and catfish,what else is usually caught in this dam? I'm relatively new to freshwater fishing so any advice re suitable SP's and likely locations to try or what to look for would be really appreciated.
