a mate and i went out this morning to go and get some prawns. first time this season. headed down to jacobs well . first spot got about 3 prawns than a few spots after that nothing. than found this ledge so we had as cast got a few so we decided to stay for a while. drifted over a good section and we were getting 15-20 prawns each cast som e being close to 15cm long. got 2 decent size flatty one being around 50cm and the other close to 70cm. ended coming back in after bout 1 our ane a half. and easy had 5-6 kg.
went halfs in the prawns and a flatty each quite a nice lunch fresh prawns and nice flathead fillets

prawns are thick at karragarra
we got 3 buckets on saturday and 2 buckets yesterday
each day only throwing for about 3-4 hours
