PB at Ningi 25/04

Ducked up Ningi today for another go at the flathead. My boy scored his PB with a 73cm flattie. Amazingly, we caught it on our bream rod with my trusty mullett - 3kg line (and only 3kg main line as leader) - although yes, we did have a rod out for flatties. When this thing came near the boat thrashing, i thought we'd loose it for sure. Threw some soft plastics around too - pumpkin seed - man those things work well. Caught a pike, bream and another flattie - fish just seem to love them hey. I met a bloke in BIG W last week who put me onto them - (so thanks again). Anyway, no real size to the bream today - only 2 in the ice box - threw back several for another day. Hope everyone had a safe long weekend. Cheers, darren

Congrats to the boy thats a fine flathead and well done landing that one on 6 bl trace. The old pumkinseed takes some beating cheers
